About Mausam
I am an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto studying life sciences. I am incredibly passionate about STEM and have performed extremely well in my science courses during my freshman year thus far. A lot of people have said that empathy is one of my best skills, and I aim to incorporate that into my teaching style. I truly believe that a positive environment fosters effective learning, and I intend to help students reach their full potential.

I hold an IB Diploma and had Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics: Analysis and Interpretations as Higher Level subjects. In addition, I have also written a research paper on the effect of germination temperature on Pennisetum glaucum.
A typical lesson plan would include starting off with the real-life significance of the topic we are learning, and using techniques such as active recall while learning.
One of the qualities that sets me apart is that I am able to gauge how students feel about a certain topic with ease and am extremely flexible when it comes to different learning styles, so I can tweak my teaching style to be tailored exactly to your preferences.
