Playing the violin and being part of a musical group can be incredibly fun due to its social nature, and has been proven to improve social and emotional skills. However, learning an intrument is a time consuiming and long process, and I would love to make this process as enjoyable as possible for anyone willing to put the work in.
I am a UCL student who enjoys orchestral playing in my spare time. I was a member of the London Schools Symphony Orchestra for four years and led while I was a member. I have performed in the Barbican Centre, Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, and in Various countries on orchestral tours. I achieved a distinction in my performance diploma in 2017, and hope to share my experience with aspiring students.
I would strongly recommend Martha to give you lessons. Martha has a very good foundation knowledge of the Violin techniques, so if you are a beginner , or if you in need of help to correct your postures, bow grip or shifting with confident....Martha is the right teacher for you.
Martha is also has rich experienced in playing in symphony orchestras, as well as smaller chamber music repertoire, which mean she can help you to understand with listening skills, follow the scores etc.....
Most of all, Martha is dedicated, patience and kind, a teacher you can trust.
