About Ishi
Hi, I am Ishi, currently based in London and trying to make the most of my time exploring the city and its wonders.
I am working as an Economist in the UK Government Economic Service. In my role, I apply economic theory and quantitative analysis to real policy questions, which allows me to bring practical, real-world insights into my teaching.
I also hold an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where I developed a strong foundation in economic theory, econometrics, and quantitative methods. This combination of academic training and professional experience helps me explain complex concepts clearly and build students’ confidence in applying them.
I offer lessons in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics (Micro, Macro, Econometrics) for GCSE and A-level students. Whether you're looking to improve your grades, prepare for exams, or strengthen your understanding, I tailor my teaching style to suit your needs and learning pace.
I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where students not only grasp concepts but also gain confidence and independence in their problem-solving skills. My approach is professional, patient, and results-driven.

Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics can be fun to learn with the right approach and training.
I look forward to connecting with those taking their GCSEs and A levels in the near future. I aim to cover topics in Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, and Geometry for Mathematics, but am also open to students' choice of topics. For Economics and Statistics, I am fully flexible to help a student with their problem areas or areas they are unclear or underconfident about.
A typical lesson with me will aim to cover the concepts of one or two important topics for the aforementioned exams and practice some questions together. After the lesson, I will also provide some practice questions on the topic taught in the lesson. I am also happy to provide an easy-to-follow summary of topics which can act as flashcards before an exam.
Since I have been a student all my life and started working fairly recently, I understand students' mindsets and the difficulties they face. Therefore, my teaching will be more accessible and approachable for those interested in learning :)
