About Faith

Hi, I’m Faith—a dedicated tutor with a strong academic background in both math and art. I graduated with top marks, including a 113/100 in College Algebra, and I’ve taught math intervention courses where I used music to make concepts like multiplication easier and more memorable for students. My unique blend of creativity and structure helps students feel supported, engaged, and empowered to succeed. In addition to tutoring, I’m a working audio engineer, songwriter, and recording artist. I actively teach my current students these real-world skills, blending math, music, and technology to help them see how what they’re learning connects to their passions and future goals. You can count on me for lessons that are personalized, professional, and designed to build confidence in every learner. Whether you're looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead, I’m here to help.

My Teaching Approach As a tutor, I focus on making math accessible, creative, and confidence-building. I adapt each lesson to fit the learning style of my students—whether they are visual, auditory, or hands-on learners. My background in both math and art allows me to approach problem-solving from unique angles, and I often incorporate music and rhythm into lessons to help students retain information in fun and meaningful ways. A Typical Lesson A typical session with me starts with a quick check-in and warm-up to assess where the student is. We then focus on the core topic, using examples, interactive activities, and music-based strategies if needed. I end each session with a review, reflection, and a short practice activity to reinforce understanding. Whether it’s multiplication through number songs or breaking down algebraic expressions with visual aids, every lesson is engaging and student-centered. What Sets Me Apart What sets me apart is my ability to blend creativity with academic rigor. I’ve taught math intervention courses where students successfully created songs to memorize math concepts. I bring patience, energy, and a personalized approach to every session, always aiming to make learning enjoyable and stress-free. Who My Lessons Are For My lessons are ideal for middle school students, intervention-level learners, or anyone who needs a fresh, engaging approach to understanding math concepts. Whether you're struggling to grasp the basics or looking to boost confidence before a test, I meet you where you are and help you grow.
