About Maria
I am a qualified STEM educator holding a BSc (Hons), an MRes with Distinction from the University of Manchester, and a PGCE. My teaching career spans both UK Further Education colleges and British International Schools. Alongside education, I bring a rich Civil Service background with a focus on project management, change management, leadership, and strategic communication.
As a mum of two primary-school-aged children, I understand firsthand how crucial patience, empathy, and encouragement are to learning. My passion for STEM drives me to empower students, replacing subject anxiety with curiosity and self-belief.
I specialise in taking complex, intimidating topics and breaking them down into clear, manageable, bite-sized steps. Combining my international teaching expertise with structured Civil Service leadership skills, I help students build not just subject mastery, but critical thinking, study discipline, and exam confidence.
