Teaching Methods & Techniques: I use a mix of structured practice, real-life examples, and interactive activities to keep students engaged. I break down complex topics into manageable pieces and reinforce learning with repetition, positive reinforcement, and creative exercises. I also like to check in frequently to make sure students truly understand rather than just memorize. Typical Lesson Plan: Each lesson starts with a quick review of previous material, followed by a fun warm-up (like a short spelling game or writing prompt). Then we dive into the main skill for the day, whether it’s grammar, reading comprehension, or ACT strategies. I always end with a recap and a simple takeaway the student can practice during the week. What Sets Me Apart: I’m a soon to be graduate of the University of Miami with real experience working with children across age groups. I’m extremely patient, reliable, and passionate about education. I create a safe space where students aren’t afraid to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow at their own pace.
