About Kristen
I am a master's student earning a degree in disability studies and possess an undergraduate degree in children's and youth studies. I was on the dean's list and graduated with honours for my undergraduate degree, and have an A average in my master's as well as a straight-A academic record from high school. I have been a tutor and teaching assistant for students ranging in age from 6 to 20.

My teaching methodology involves guiding the student to use their own strengths and knowledge to come to the answer, rather than simply providing the answer. My knowledge of disability studies, as well as my background in the arts, enables me to be very creative and adaptable to all students with any background. I try to understand as many diverse backgrounds and learning styles as possible and apply my knowledge of learning and pedagogy as well as my own experiences to my lessons.
