My teaching varies depending on the student. I like interactions to be creative, enjoyable, and intellectually rewarding. There is no such thing as a perfect formula, but working together to build confidence, interest, and a repertoire of learning techniques is key.
I have an undergraduate degree in liberal arts and a master's in cognitive sciences from University College London. I got a 1st on both of these. I have done the IB, and i'm excited to teach others how to succeed! I recently tutored a student who got an offer from his first choice at King's College London.
I'm happy to teach a wide variety of subjects, but my expertise is in essay writing/structuring, personal statements, philosophy (e.g. TOK), psychology, biology, and i'm very comfortable teaching English language/literature.
If tutoring takes place outside central London then I will ask for the transportation to be covered (zone 1-2). Otherwise, no problem.
