Methodology

Hi, I'm Jess, a 25 year old masters graduate happy to help you with a wide range of subjects. My masters was in Art History and Undergraduate in Fashion Design. I have 9 GCSEs and 3 A-Levels. In the past I have tutored Art History, English as a second language and Mathematics.

Experience

I have tutored Art History at A-Level, English as a second language for one year and am currently tutoring mathematics. I thought Art History at A-Level on a One to one basis in North London weekly. I taught English as a second language on a One to one basis too, some students I had were taught over Skype as they lived abroad. I currently teach mathematics on a One to one basis in North London.

Personal Summery
A postgraduate seeking work to support a one year long Church internship which began on 1st April 2017. Due to the applicant’s current responsibilities, one day tutoring per week would be preferable. Applicant has strong verbal and written communication skills. If successful, applicant is available to begin work immediately.

Areas of Expertise
Secretarial: Current secretary for both a young professionals group and teen leaders group. Held the post of Assistant Secretary for Cappagh Young Farmers, a community group which supports the agricultural industry.
Communication: Public speaking is a regular part of current role. In April 2017, successfully delivered talks to audiences of women on self esteem issues. Progressed to the Northern Ireland county finals for public speaking, organised by Business and Professional Women (BPW).
Charity work: Have worked for two years and two months in a veterans care charity (further details below). Took part in a community outreach programme for two weeks in Birmingham within a team of twenty young people. Undertook a sponsored sky dive for an animal shelter and went on a volunteering trip to an African orphanage.
