I am a state certified, masters level teacher who is also a musician, writer and gardener. I have been teaching various subjects to all ages, but mostly young adults for eleven years. I lots people from all backgrounds and believe that diversity is our greatest strength.

My teaching methodology is based on collaborative learning theories that incorporate advanced communication methods to enhance student's optimal learning environments. I use a student's zone of proximal development to figure out a starting point that helps that student to feel confident and engaged in the material.
