About Sydnae

I graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and minors in Chemistry, Art, and Sports Medicine. I also recently earned my master's degree in Medical Science from Morehouse School of Medicine, where I completed graduate-level medical coursework in subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and neuroscience.

I have experience tutoring middle and high school students in math through Study Smart Tutors, where I worked with students of different academic backgrounds and learning styles. One of my proudest moments was helping a student who had been struggling in math improve their grade to an A.

Beyond tutoring, I've worked with children through developmental research, community programs, and art-based activities. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and making learning enjoyable.

I know firsthand that challenging subjects can feel overwhelming, but I believe every student is capable of improving with the right guidance and encouragement. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace.

I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals!

I believe every student learns differently, and my goal as a tutor is to find an approach that works best for each individual. With a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a master's degree in Medical Science, and previous experience tutoring middle and high school students, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and building confidence in the classroom.

My lessons begin by identifying what a student already understands and where they may need additional support. From there, I break down difficult concepts into smaller, manageable steps, use practice problems and real-world examples, and encourage students to ask questions without feeling embarrassed.

I primarily work with middle and high school students in math and science, whether they need help with homework, preparing for exams, or strengthening their understanding of a subject.

What I enjoy most about tutoring is seeing students go from feeling frustrated or discouraged to realizing they are capable of succeeding. My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but to help them become more confident and independent learners.
