About Claire
I am a 32 year old from South Africa where I studied science for 7 years and then decided to do an education degree. I began teaching in 2017 with the idea of it being a temporary job before I proceeded with my PhD. Well that was before I fell absolutely in love with teaching and the role that we, as teachers, have to play in the shaping of so many lives. I treat my students as my own kids and want only the best for them academically, and more.

Lessons will be between 1 and 1.5 hours long. In that time I will go over the topic that needs to be covered with emphasis on understanding the concept and/ or process, rather than basic rote learning. I will then provide practice activities which we can work through together, and some you can try for yourself, after which I will go through your work with you. I Will then provide some additional material for you to practice after by yourself.
