I have taught both middle school and high school math for 10 years. Before teaching, I used the same math in the real world as a metal fabricator and mechanic. That also gives me a down to Earth approach to teaching math.

My lessons incorporate both real world applications along with theory. There is no sense in learning how to do math without knowing why the math actually works or when to use the math. My favorite question to answer is "when will I use this?"
