About Cristina
I am a former math teacher who loves helping students learn new skills and gain confidence in their abilities. I am from Ohio (Go Bucks!) and have experience teaching 6th grade, 9th grade, and 10th grade and in tutoring from 2nd graders to early college level.

I use an exploratory technique with routine practice to hone in on necessary skills. Students will use critical thinking skills to explore a concept. They will then practice mastery of that concept through routine practice. A typical lesson will start with questions/review from the previous lesson, it will then include an exploratory portion over new skills, finally there will be practice questions over the skill learned. As a tutor I will encourage students, challenge students, and model math concepts. Lessons created are for math concepts ranging from 2nd grade to early college.
