About Ian
Why should you struggle with calculus when the foundations can be made clear through systematic practice? I hold an MS in Data Science from UC Berkeley and have 13 years of experience in quantitative research. Teaching allows me to simplify complex logic for students ranging from teens to adults who need fundamental strength.
I have taught 63 students, using my background to help them overcome hurdles in linear algebra, geometry, and exam prep. I focus on conceptual learning so you can achieve your academic goals with confidence.

Imagine the satisfaction of seeing a difficult geometry problem resolve into a simple set of logical steps. My lessons start by identifying the specific gaps in your understanding to ensure we build a rock solid base for calculus or SAT math.
