About Emanuel
I am Emanuel Fente, I recently graduated at the university of the Western Cape in BSs Mathematical and statistical science. In my undergrad I have always been involved in helping students from my community to understand mathematics and have produced good results from those that I assisted. I went as far as engaging a local school to open earlier in my community so that we could tackle the syllabus and have plenty of time to work on one of the most challenging topics their learners found in the previous year. I recently worked as teacher assistant in the said subject for 3 months and have produced good results in their March controlled test.

My teaching method is introducing a lesson and do few examples and allow my learners to do problems first then later assist them in those that they found difficult to assist. I believe that for one to understand Mathematics he/she has to attempt every problem, I also allow them to individually and in groups, because I understand that some of them understand the work when the content is being explained to them by their peers. In the creation of groups I always create a space where characters will complement each other and mix those that always get high marks with average and poor so that they can uplift themselves.
