About Amanda
Spending time with students has shown me that mathematics is not only about solving problems but also about developing patience and logical thinking. I enjoy helping learners discover simpler ways to understand challenging concepts.
I have a Master's Degree and 11 years of teaching experience with high school and college students. My teaching approach has helped students improve their foundations, prepare for assessments, and build confidence.
Supporting learners as they achieve progress and become independent thinkers is what makes teaching mathematics meaningful to me.

My mathematics lessons are focused on developing clear understanding, confidence, and effective problem-solving strategies. I help students break down complex questions into simple steps so they can learn methods that work independently.
We will explore algebra, calculus, geometry, trigonometry, probability, statistics, functions, matrices, vectors, equations, number systems, mathematical modelling, and exam preparation techniques. Lessons include worked examples, practice questions, revision activities, and discussions on different solution methods.
I create a supportive learning environment where students can improve at their own pace. Regular feedback and personalised practice help learners strengthen their skills and develop a positive approach towards mathematics.
