About Darren

I graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Statistics and CS. Here's the crazy part though: there was a time I didn't understand math at all. Formulas felt like a secret code I wasn't in on, and every class left me more lost than the last.

Then something clicked. I stopped trying to memorize my way through problems and started asking WHY things worked, connecting ideas instead of cramming them. That shift didn't just get me through a class, it changed everything. I fell in love with math, and that spark carried me all the way through my degree.

I take patience and break down each math problem into simpler terms allowing my students to have an intuitive approach to learning math.

My focus is on building confidence by ensuring students truly grasp core concepts, setting a rock-solid foundation for all their future learning.
