About Jasmine
My passion for mathematics began during my school years when I realized that solving mathematical problems required creativity and logical thinking. This interest led me to pursue higher education in the field, eventually completing a PhD in Mathematics. Over the past 11 years, I have taught students from different academic levels and helped them strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts.
I believe that every student can succeed in mathematics when they receive clear guidance and consistent support. Many learners struggle because they miss small foundational ideas early in their studies. My teaching approach focuses on identifying those gaps and helping students rebuild their understanding step by step. By adapting my teaching style to each student’s learning pace, I aim to make mathematics more approachable.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading about mathematical applications in science and technology. Continuing to learn helps me bring fresh perspectives into my lessons. Helping students transform their fear of mathematics into confidence and curiosity is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. My goal is to support learners in building strong analytical skills that will benefit them in many areas of life.

Mathematics often appears challenging when students focus only on memorizing formulas without understanding the ideas behind them. My lessons focus on helping learners develop logical thinking so they can approach problems with confidence. We begin with fundamental topics such as numbers, algebra, and basic equations. By strengthening these foundations, students are able to understand more advanced topics with greater ease.
During lessons, I guide students through areas such as algebraic expressions, geometry, data interpretation, and introductory calculus depending on their academic level. Each topic is explained step by step so learners can clearly follow the reasoning behind every solution. Practice exercises are used to reinforce understanding and improve problem-solving skills. I encourage students to explain their thinking because discussing solutions helps them understand mathematical processes more deeply.
As students continue learning, they begin to see mathematics as a logical system rather than a difficult subject. They gain confidence in solving problems and become more comfortable exploring complex ideas. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and develop their skills gradually. With clear guidance and regular practice, mathematics becomes both manageable and rewarding.
