About Ishan
My passion for Mathematics stems from an early fascination with patterns, logical reasoning, and problem-solving. I pursued an M.Sc in Mathematical Sciences, gaining extensive knowledge of both theoretical and applied mathematics. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided students from elementary school math learners to those preparing for SAT math and Calculus exams. My teaching emphasizes conceptual understanding, reasoning, and independence, helping learners achieve both confidence and academic success. I emphasize understanding each student’s learning style, tailoring instruction to meet their cognitive needs. Using step-by-step explanations, visualization techniques, and real-world examples, I make abstract topics like geometry, algebra, and Calculus accessible and engaging. I encourage active questioning, exploration, and learning through mistakes, fostering a supportive environment where learners feel confident and motivated. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with mathematics through problem-solving, research, and curriculum development. Advanced learners focus on algebra, SAT math preparation, and introductory Calculus, emphasizing analytical reasoning and accuracy.
