About Sarah
I am a longtime lover of academics and McGill University student pursuing a Joint Honours degree in English Literature and East Asian Studies. In secondary school, I achieved a score of 1550 out of 1600 possible points on my standardized SAT tests. I also received the International Baccalaureate diploma, earning very favourable marks in Higher Level English, European and Asian History, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as in Standard Level Latin, Chinese, and Physics.

My teaching methods are somewhat Socratic, more discussion-based than lecture. I want to focus on the student as an individual, and teach for the sake of knowledge, not simply toward a rote memorization of material. I am comfortable tutoring students aged from primary school to the university level. I want to listen to what the student has to say, and build a lesson plan around the concepts they are interested in learning.
