About Renee
I am in my third year at McGill with a double major in Psychology and International Development. I minor in Indigenous Studies. I also excel at journalism and creative writing. I’ve been a tutor and a youth swim coach before, so am familiar with creating a learning environment suited to different strengths and weaknesses. I have held a lot of research positions in my career and can help students improve their research skills greatly.

I believe in individualized learning for each student, similar to the individual education plans offered to only some in the public system. Every method won’t work for each student so I like to find out from the student themselves how they feel they learn best and do everything I can to facilitate that. I make sure students understand and can explain concepts in their own words before moving on to avoid losing engagement.
