About Samuel
Hello! I am a Mechanical Engineering and Computing Technology student at the University of Ottawa and the Junior Mechanical Lead of Kelpie Robotics. Throughout my time as a student, I have always been the go-to person for my peers, helping them break down and understand complex lecture materials whenever they struggled. As an engineering student, I have a deep, practical grasp of mathematics and physics, allowing me to bridge the gap between abstract equations and real-world engineering applications. Furthermore, in my role as Junior Lead of our robotics mechanical team, it is my responsibility to train new members. I design and teach introductory lessons on underwater ROV design, successfully guiding students through advanced engineering concepts before they even encounter them in a classroom.
