About Saumyaa
I studied Engineering and Science (majoring in Mechatronics Engineering and Chemistry) and graduated with a GPA of 6.5. Further, I am currently working as a Systems Engineer at a consultancy firm in Brisbane. I offered private tutoring to over 15 students over the five years that I studied at University and therefore have experience in tutoring. My main goal as a tutor is to help build confidence in my students in their knowledge and help build sustainable study habits which can then be transferred over to any future study opportunities that they choose to take part it.

I have tutored students for the last 7 years in Maths, Sciences and English for students ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 11. I studied in Melbourne and obtained an ATAR of 95. Tutoring sessions are flexible for each student and their schedules and I am available to offer in-person and/or virtual sessions on request. Typical sessions go for 1-hour, with the first half of the session focusing on teaching concepts and the second half of the session focusing on practice questions to reinforce concepts. Lesson structure can be changed if students want to focus on homework help/assignment assistance or if they wish to go on concepts taught in class if preferred.
