About Tarilyn
Hello! I’m Tarilyn, born and raised in sunny Miami. My educational journey began at Florida International University (FIU), where I majored in English with a minor in Chemistry. This unique combination fueled my passion for both the humanities and the sciences, offering a well-rounded perspective that I’ve carried throughout my academic career. After completing my undergraduate degree, I pursued a Master’s in Biomedical Science at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). This experience deepened my understanding of the biomedical field and ignited a passion for research and discovery. Currently, I am in my third year of medical school, where I am fully immersed in clinical rotations. This stage of my education has been both challenging and rewarding, providing me with practical insights and hands-on experience in the medical field. Outside of academics, I enjoy listening to music and writing, which offer me a creative outlet and a way to relax. My journey through various fields of study and my current medical training have shaped my approach to learning and mentorship, allowing me to support and guide others as they navigate their own academic paths.

As a dedicated tutor with a strong academic background, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to my teaching. During my undergraduate studies, I served as a tutor in biology for two years, honing my skills in explaining complex concepts and fostering a supportive learning environment. I earned a BA in English with a minor in Chemistry, which equipped me with a unique interdisciplinary perspective.
Furthering my education, I completed a Master of Biomedical Science, where I not only deepened my understanding of biological sciences but also took on a mentorship role, guiding fellow students through their academic and research challenges. Currently, as a third-year medical student, I continue to mentor and support my peers, drawing on my diverse background to help students excel in their studies. My extensive tutoring experience, combined with my academic achievements and ongoing role as a mentor, allows me to provide valuable insights and support to students in their academic journeys.
