About Yasmine
"Teaching exists because adults often struggle to find clarity when starting from scratch. Complexity is frequently a self-imposed barrier rather than a fundamental constraint of the subject matter itself. My 6 years of experience working as a software engineer after graduating from a General Assembly bootcamp allows me to simplify these concepts.
My focus centers on arithmetic, number sense, mensuration, and mental math to build a strong foundation. Vedic math techniques and strategic problem-solving help students navigate competition math prep and calculus with ease. Helping high schoolers prepare for computer science degrees remains the ultimate goal for our future success."

"Does math anxiety stem from a lack of intuition or just missing the right framework? Establishing a logical path is the primary philosophy behind my teaching approach.
My General Assembly training informs how I break down word problems and homework help into manageable components. Mock tests with error analysis before exams ensure that students are prepared for high pressure scenarios.
