As a tutor, I specialize in math instruction for students from middle school through GED and college prep levels. I use a trauma-informed, neuroscience-based approach that focuses on reducing anxiety, building confidence, and teaching in ways that align with how the brain learns best. What sets me apart is my background in psychology and education, including a Master’s in Education focused on Neuroscience and Trauma, which gives me a deep understanding of how stress and past academic struggles impact learning. I provide a calm, compassionate, and empowering learning environment for students who may have checked out in traditional classrooms.
