About Ivan
I am an undergraduate student at MIT studying physics, and I am about to transfer to the Nuclear Science and Engineering Department for a PhD. I have four semesters worth of experience teaching/tutoring physics, and am trained on effective mentorship. My main experience is with university-level classical mechanics, but I can tutor a wide variety of mathematics and physics topics as well.

My lessons are customized to the student and what benefits them the most. Whether that is thinking through a problem conceptually, looking at the broader context of a topic, or figuring out where they went wrong on a test. I particularly enjoy delving deep into problems and making connections between different scenarios and concepts. It is best if the student tells me ahead of time what they would like to focus on so I can prepare accordingly.
