About Kaelin
I am currently completing my master's degree in Botany, focusing on plant physiology. I realised I enjoyed tutoring when I started facilitating undergraduate practicals in my faculty. It is always rewarding to see students come out of their shells and be inquisitive about topics that they do not always comprehend straight away. Building their confidence regarding topics they do understand but are not always comfortable explaining, comes through reassurance and a friendly tutor to guide them.

My teaching style is adjusted to meet students' needs, which can be more patient and structured or independent, depending on the level needed by the student. Tutoring will also encourage critical thinking skills and other skills such as essay question writing and smart study skills.
