About Joanna
I studied Fine Arts and Illustration and I specialize in acrylic paint, oil paint, guache, watercolor, charcoal, pastel, ink, and graphite. I’ve worked with kids from the ages 5-18 and adults aged 25+. I have had my work in 6 different galleries and published in 4 local papers.

I want to introduce art to all different skill levels by demonstrating how to break down figures into basic shapes and colors. Art shouldn’t be intimidating and anyone can succeed if they show drive, passion, and patience. I want to help other artists feel more confident in their skills and expand their abilities to create. I believe if you have a teacher who shares these characteristics, it will amplify your ambition to excel in art as well.

Joanna is a wonderful artist and teacher. She’s very patient and descriptive in her sessions, and I honestly came to her with no background in art and with not much skill whatsoever. She helped me grasp different techniques and skills that I didn’t even think I’d ever learn. I highly recommend her!
