About Jaël
I’ve taught 6th grade math and English for one year. I also studied Spanish for 12+ years and minored in it in college. My experience working with special needs students has equipped me with the skills of communicating difficult topics into more digestible content. It has also taught me patience, and creativity which has helped me create engaging, effective lesson plans.

I truly believe that true learning begins with engagement. If it’s not interesting, what’s the point? My experience with special needs students taught me that school needs to be a tangible, personable experience, one in which students can engage with. This is the best way to not only learn information, but to retain it for life, so as a tutor, I will make sure my students actually enjoy learning.
