As a tutor, my primary goal is to help students gain a deep understanding of chemistry, biology, and math, rather than just memorizing facts. I simplify challenging concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations, tailoring my teaching style to meet each student's individual needs. A typical lesson begins with identifying areas where the student is struggling, followed by collaborative problem-solving using examples, and then progressing to independent practice.
I believe that the best learning occurs through real-world examples rather than relying solely on slideshows or lectures. Drawing from my own experience in advanced AP-level math and science courses, leading a chemistry club, and studying various STEM topics, I strive to make learning both practical and engaging. I particularly enjoy working with middle school and high school students, including those enrolled in honors or AP classes. Ultimately, my aim is to foster curiosity, confidence, and a strong understanding of the subject matter.
