About Alana
As someone who moved to the United States in 2012 with little to no knowledge of English, I fully understand the challenges and dedication it takes to learn a new language. Through hard work and perseverance, I became fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English within just six months. I graduated from both high school and college in the U.S. with honors, a testament to my commitment to excellence and my ability to adapt and succeed in a new environment. Today, I am a full professional, and many people are often surprised to learn that I wasn’t born here because of my fluency and comfort with the language.
I bring that same determination and commitment to my students. My approach is rooted in real-life application, focusing on practical conversations and pronunciation exercises to help you gain confidence quickly. With my firsthand experience of learning English in such a short time, I know how to guide you effectively, ensuring that your progress is both natural and impactful. Having been born and raised in Brazil and lived in the U.S. for over 12 years, I understand the challenges of learning a new language firsthand. I’ve walked the same path, so I know what it takes to gain confidence and fluency in English. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and fluency in multiple languages, my approach is rooted in real-life experience. I focus on conversational English, reading, and pronunciation to help students master the language in a way that feels natural and practical.
