About Zoe

Hello!

I'm Zoe, a native British English tutor from London with a clear, neutral accent. I help adults around the world speak more confidently, communicate naturally and achieve their English goals.

I hold a 120-hour TEFL qualification, including Business English, and have experience working in an international school in Berlin as well as teaching adult learners online.

My lessons combine structured learning with real-life conversation, practical exercises and personalised feedback. Whether you want to improve your fluency, prepare for an exam or feel more confident using English at work, we'll build a plan around your goals.

I specialise in OET preparation for healthcare professionals, Cambridge English exams, Business English, job interviews, British pronunciation and conversational fluency.

Before teaching, I worked internationally across the creative industries, including theatre, fashion and cultural projects. This experience brings a creative, engaging approach to my lessons, using authentic materials and interesting topics to make learning relevant and enjoyable.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging and well organised. I explain grammar in context, help you develop vocabulary you can actually use, and give you plenty of opportunities to practise speaking in a relaxed environment.

About the lesson

Every lesson is tailored to your level, interests and goals. My aim is to help you use English more confidently in real situations, not simply memorise grammar rules.

HOW MY LESSONS WORK

We combine structured exercises with conversation, role plays, authentic articles and videos, and practical feedback. You'll have plenty of opportunities to speak, identify areas for improvement and practise useful language.

OET PREPARATION

For healthcare professionals, I offer targeted practice across Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening. This can include role plays, referral and discharge letters, medical vocabulary, writing feedback and exam strategies.

WHO I TEACH

I work with adult learners from beginner to proficient level, with particular experience supporting intermediate and advanced students.
