I studied Computer Science in college. AKA: I know how to math in simple terms and make things make sense. In college, I was always the one to organize and lead study sessions with my peers and I'm ready to do that with you! As a recent grad , I know how tough it is to be a student. I like to go by the "cheat sheet" method of studying and find it most effective to prepare for exams. Every session as we approach new topics, we'll add key points to an "ultimate cheat sheet." As we go about our sessions, you'll have a study guide catered to language and visuals that work well for you!
I specialize in using analogies and physical items to make visualizing difficult topics a bit easier as well as fostering a collaborative and fun environment. I base my lesson plans on your personal goals, starting off by walking you through, step by step difficult problems. Ultimately however, our lesson structures will be very collaborative. If you say you want to go over a topic, a homework problem, or go back to some basics: we'll do just that.
My lessons are designed for K-12 students, whether they need help with algebra and pre-calc or more advanced topics like calculus, discrete math, stats, and object oriented programming. Whether a student is struggling to keep up or looking to excel further, I am here to guide them on their math journey.
