About Katrina

I've been working with children since I was 15 years old. Working at camps and tutoring different families in my home town. I love help get students to understand concepts that they used to struggle with. Sometimes people need a concept presented in a different way and I'm always looking to find those different ways. I've worked with many different learners so I'm prepared to demonstrate things in as many ways as needed to get you to learn!

About the lesson

I like to model for my students how to solve a problem and generalize the steps for them so that they can replicate it themselves for any similar problem given to them in the future. My speciality is 6-8 math or high school Geometry but I've tutored for the math section of the SAT, algebra i and ii, as well as pre-calc and trig. I tutored throughout high school, under grad, and graduate school. I'm here to help you tackle any math problem!
