I am a New York State-certified Social Studies teacher offering tutoring in psychology, philosophy, and related social science subjects. My background in Social Studies has given me extensive experience helping students understand complex ideas, analyze different perspectives, and develop strong critical-thinking and writing skills.
In psychology, I can help students explore topics such as human behavior, personality, cognition, social psychology, development, motivation, and major psychological theories and thinkers. In philosophy, I can help students work through topics including ethics, logic, epistemology, political philosophy, existentialism, and the ideas of major philosophers throughout history.
As a certified Social Studies teacher, I also bring a strong historical and interdisciplinary perspective to these subjects, helping students see how psychology and philosophy connect to history, politics, culture, and society.
