About Maria Jesus
I am a passionate Chilean home cook who has been exploring the culinary arts since childhood. For the past five years, I have embraced a vegan lifestyle, which has deepened my appreciation for plant-based cooking. Currently, I am excited to discover different types of tofu and their applications in both sweet and savory recipes.
Having lived in Australia for the past two years, I bring a relaxed yet highly organized approach to my cooking and teaching. I prepare my classes with great dedication, ensuring that each session is tailored to meet the needs and interests of my students.

My approach to tutoring emphasizes a personalized and flexible teaching methodology that adapts to each student's unique needs. I believe in fostering a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable exploring and experimenting with flavors, allowing for creativity in the kitchen. My lessons can range from 1 to 3 hours, providing ample time to cover techniques, discuss ingredients, and practice hands-on cooking, depending on the student’s needs.
Although I don’t have formal qualifications, my lifelong passion for cooking and extensive self-taught experience enrich my teaching. I aim to share my love for vegan cooking with beginners of all ages who are eager to learn and explore new culinary skills.
