About Jared
I am an online English teacher with eight years of experience and was an ex-pat for seven years. I lived in France for about three years total and South Korea for four years. I have been in English language teaching since 2012. I'm passionate about reading and writing instruction and want to offer fun, engaging, enjoyable, and intriguing lessons that will make students think and learn about the world around them in the English language.

My teaching approach is holistic and individualistic. I meet all my student's needs and assess them and then create an individual action plan with multiple steps to let students know where they need to go in order to reach their goals. I create custom-made materials and lectures that suit each student's unique needs and desires for the tutoring plan. I teach based on the Great Books, extensive reading, and the Socratic method.
