About June
Hi! I’m June, a second-year Economics student at University College London (UCL). I’m fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and I’ve always enjoyed working with younger students; partly thanks to growing up with a younger brother who is eight years younger than me, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to explain things clearly from a young age. Academically, I completed the International Baccalaureate with a score of 40/45. My strong academic foundation, combined with my multicultural background and real-life experience supporting younger learners, allows me to connect well with students from a variety of age groups and learning styles. I’m approachable, organised, and genuinely motivated to help others succeed. I believe that a positive mindset and steady encouragement can make a real difference in a student’s academic journey.

I offer a patient, supportive, and adaptable approach to teaching English. My goal is to help students build strong language skills by explaining concepts in clear, engaging, and age-appropriate ways that suit each learner’s style. Together, we will work through reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and oral exercises to develop confidence and fluency. Lessons typically last between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. I teach students from age 6 and up, and my experience with younger learners has given me valuable insight into how children best absorb and retain language. Whether your child needs help with schoolwork, wants to improve their writing and speaking skills, or simply gain confidence in English, I’m here to support them every step of the way.
