About Tamsyn
My favourite subject has always been English and it was the subject I got the best grades in, A* pupil! I went on to study a teaching diploma after my A levels at college. At this point I was a young mum but I was determined to become a teacher and begin my dream career. I began working as a special needs teacher in a high school and started studying Psychology for educational professionals at Birkbeck University. I always dreamed of being a teacher since I was a little girl and many life lessons prepared me well for the role! I am a firm but fun teacher. My passion for teaching has come from wanting to help and look out for others. I needed to end my career a few years ago, of teaching in the classroom when I was diagnosed with a chronic illness; but have continued to train and teach people online since. I am the agony aunt to all those close to me because I’m easy to talk to. I have students, friends and family from all walks of life and I have been the person who needed help once, so I get joy when I can be of help to others. My life started from humble beginnings but I am proud that I am well-educated, despite having my children young and have made a positive impact to those students who I have taught. You’re in good hands.

My background in Psychology helps to keep each learning plan bespoke to each individual.
