About Samridhi
With a double Masters’ degree in Natural Resources Management and Ecology, I have four years of experience learning and teaching ecology at the University level, and four years of experience working in conservation organizations at the national (UNDP and ICIMOD) and international level (IUCN). I am familiar with and qualified to teach the following university level courses:
Introductory chemistry courses (first-year university courses)
Introduction to cellular and molecular biology
Scientific writing and review
Introduction to veterinary medicine
Ecology related courses for example: principles of ecology, population ecology, biodiversity, conservation biology, evolution and adaptation, behavioral ecology, community ecology, ecology of individuals

A proponent of critical thinking and deep learning, I focus on asking questions to make students think about the solutions. I facilitate learning in students because I believe this learning strategy instills a love for learning that goes beyond the tutoring sessions. As such, I use case studies and bring in relevant real-world issues to discuss theories and concepts.
