About Arta
I provide personalised, one-to-one tuition for children preparing for 3+, 7+, 11+ and 13+ entrance assessments across central London.
With over five years’ experience, I support students through key academic transitions, helping them approach assessments with clarity and confidence.
Alongside my tutoring work, I am a published author with Oxford University Press and a recipient of international fellowships. This academic background informs a structured, thoughtful approach to teaching, with a strong focus on depth of understanding rather than rote learning.

I have supported a wide range of student needs, from children experiencing early maths or literacy anxiety to highly motivated learners preparing for competitive academic pathways and writing competitions. My approach focuses on building strong foundations in English, Mathematics, and reasoning skills, while helping children feel confident, capable, and supported throughout the preparation process.
My sessions are designed to create, sustain, and strengthen a solid foundational learning experience, particularly for younger candidates preparing for 3+ and 7+ assessments. I often travel to my tutee’s residence to ensure sessions are as comfortable and well integrated as possible, which is especially beneficial for early-years learners and helps reduce pressure around test preparation.
I hold a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Maastricht University, an International Diploma in Management and Leadership from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Public Health Policy and Management Fellowship from Emory University, bringing a broad, interdisciplinary perspective to my tutoring and mentoring work.

I have worked with a wide range of students, from those needing support with early literacy or maths confidence to more able learners preparing for academically demanding pathways, including writing competitions. In each case, the focus is on building strong, transferable skills while helping children feel capable and motivated. With younger learners, establishing trust and ease is key. Lessons are carefully paced and adapted to the child’s level, ensuring they remain engaged while developing essential skills.
Sessions combine structured, curriculum-based work with interactive elements such as visual aids, practical materials, and guided reading. In Mathematics, I often use simple, hands-on approaches to make concepts clear and accessible, supporting both understanding and retention.
For more advanced learners, I offer integrated support across English and Mathematics, helping them refine their thinking, strengthen problem-solving, and work with greater independence.
