About Nazan
I am interested in applying for a job as a tutor as I am keen to pass on the skills I have gained across my education and uplift students who struggle with English Language and Literature. I believe that my studies at Oxford and thorough experience with literary studies in general equips me with the ability to enliven and enthuse any student who have difficulties or would like to further excel in areas of reading and writing of fictional and non-fictional texts.
Despite not having previous experience in the area of tutoring, I believe my experience as a carer for The Orders of the St Johns Care Trust during the pandemic for the elderly and disabled has given me invaluable skills in the areas of patience, compassion and the empowering of others, which I believe are key skills for being able to be a kind, supportive and uplifting teacher.

As a English Literature Graduate, I am able to teach GCSE, A Level and University Undergrad in English Language and Literature. I am able to also tutor in regards to essay writing and University Entrance Prep also. My lesson structure is based on the students needs - after an assessment of the students learning style I will opt for the most engaging, exciting and helpful format possible, tailored to each individual student.
