About Rachel
I hold a bachelor's degree in studio art from UC Santa Cruz. I have been drawing and painting for nearly 30 years. I currently paint from my home studio, primarily focusing on abstract painting and calligraphy. My teaching experience is in Softball Coaching and Pastry techniques. I bring the mindset of a coach to my tutoring. I will be there to support you and help guide you to be the best artist you can be.

I am an artist with a regular painting practice with experience in teaching other subjects. I like to start lessons with assessing the level of my students and meeting them where they are. We can focus on improving techniques you already know and introducing new techniques and concepts from there.
