About Mayurakshi
I am a trained painting instructor with a Diploma in Painting (First Division Distinction) from Bangiya Kala Parishad, working across watercolor, acrylic, and oil mediums with a strong focus on technical fundamentals.
Along with structured academic training, I incorporate observational exercises, live demonstrations, and step-by-step breakdowns of master studies to make concepts clear and practical. I also use experimental approaches—such as texture studies, limited-palette challenges, and composition reworking—to help students think beyond conventional methods.
My goal is to make learning both disciplined and explorative, so students not only build strong technical skills but also develop creative problem-solving and individual expression.

My classes are structured and tailored to each student’s level. Each session includes demonstration, guided practice, and detailed feedback. Students build strong fundamentals in tonal values, color mixing, perspective, and brush control, then progress to composition, layering techniques, and surface handling. I also provide portfolio-focused guidance to track progress and refine individual style.
