Rose is an awesome Art teacher. She has a great personality and is always willing to help. She explains the elements and principles of oil painting techniques very well as well as how to see and mix colours. Because of her explanations I am seeing colours and shape in nature that I have never seen before. Rose provides a great environment to learn and makes it fun. She is always willing to help and is amazing at showing us how to improve our painting with just a few strokes. I appreciated her for not just showing me the oil paint techniques but also letting me experiment on my own so that I am able to produce amazing unique paintings. Thanks for doing a great job Rose! I started painting classes with Rose 2 years ago. She is always very encouraging and finds something positive to say to everyone. She can fix any mistake you have made, and makes it all seem so easy. Rose is a whiz with colours, and makes YOU see them, too. You never stop learning from her.

Within the 3 hour weekly session she individualizes her instruction to every member of the class. We are all at different levels...some just beginners and others have taken painting with her for years. She works and instructs us on our individual paintings while taking into consideration personality types and skill level. She knows how much she can push each of us so that we’re challenging ourselves. She teaches us...building on our knowledge, capabilities and skills as we progress. She is encouraging and is always positive. Every minute in the class is a teaching moment but a lot of fun at the same time.
I love how she step by step teaches us how to mix colours, blend, focus, strategize and really see and feel each piece that we’re working on.
She leaves her students ( no matter what their skill level) with a sense of accomplishment. She instills confidence. Each week I feel refreshed and inspired by her.
Painting with Rose is theapeutic and relaxing and I just love it!
