About Martin
My name is Martin, and I’m a passionate, patient, and supportive English tutor. I enjoy helping learners discover that English can be easier and more enjoyable when it is taught in a clear and practical way.
I teach English, Modern Literature, Reading, Literacy, and Creative Writing, and I want to help students develop not only their academic skills but also the confidence to express themselves clearly.
I decided to teach because I believe that knowledge becomes more valuable when we share it with others. I find it rewarding to see a student move from struggling with a topic to understanding it and becoming confident.
As your tutor, I will listen to you, understand your goals, and create lessons around your needs. Your progress will be my priority.
Whether you want to improve your reading, writing, grammar, literature, or creative writing, I’ll be here to guide and encourage you every step of the way.

I believe that every student can learn and improve when they are taught with patience, encouragement, and the right approach. My tutoring is not just about giving answers—it is about helping you understand why the answer is correct and giving you the confidence to do it yourself.
In my lessons, I will: Understand you first – I’ll take time to understand your current level, strengths, challenges, and learning goals.
Personalize your lessons – I will adapt my teaching style and lesson activities to match your individual needs and pace.
Encourage you to participate – You will have opportunities to ask questions, discuss ideas, read, write, and practice rather than simply listen.
Build practical skills – Whether we are working on English, Reading, Literacy, Modern Literature, or Creative Writing, I’ll focus on skills you can actually use in school and everyday life. Make difficult topics simple – I’ll break complex ideas into smaller, understandable steps and use examples where necessary.
Create a comfortable learning environment – There are no embarrassing questions in my class. Mistakes are part of learning, and I encourage students to learn from them.
Track your progress – We will identify areas that need improvement and work progressively toward your goals.
My goal is not simply to be your tutor; I want to be your learning partner. I want every student to finish each lesson feeling that they have learned something new, gained confidence, and moved one step closer to their goal.
