About Max
I first started teaching my little sister. She has difficulties learning. When the school is unable to teach her math and abstract concepts, I am the one who helps her. To teach her fractions she could not understand on paper or on pie graphs, I grabbed ropes and a pair of scissors to demonstrate how length could be put into halves and quarters.
When I debuted in University, I still found myself teaching and helping my peers, although, not in math. At my best, I am an information sponge, capable of learning new fields quickly. I grew a passion for phycology and I intend to minor in the field. When I joined my local language club, I quickly picked up intermediate French, Spanish and German with the help of language apps and flash cards. I do not consider myself smart, but I can be efficient and persistent.
My passion for Anthropology sparked in my second year, and I spited my bio-science career. I will specialize in language revitalization, which focuses on recovering endangered languages.

I believe I am qualified to help first or second year university students or high school students. I'll speak slowly, use analogies, and ask you many questions so that you consolidate the information that I teach. During my studies of language revitalization, I ended up learning lots about pedagogy. I will apply pedagogical strategies to my lessons.
I've gathered plenty of knowledge and expertise, but I'll only be giving lessons about what I have passion for.
I bring a positive atmosphere when I teach :)
