On meeting my students, I like to get to know them by finding out about their interests and passions. I am approachable and have great listening skills and my students feel that I understand their strengths and areas to work on. After an initial meeting I plan and outline a journey for each students to go on. This make be developing or refining a skills such as drawing or learning how to analyse contextual references such as Artists and Photographers. Finding inspiration in others is often the key to developing your own ideas. I have a bank of many resources that I use to break down exam board assessment objectives into manageable chunks. I am flexible in my approach and responsive to each student's needs as lessons progress.
